There were smiles and laughter and it was very educational. If you have money, candy, books etc to leave behind. It is very appreciated.”

“The picture is a bit misleading. There was not much culture involved. Only a trip to Vic falls, lunch, short trip to the market and high tea at the hotel. A bit underwhelming. No information about the local culture or anything special. I would not recommend the tour at all.”

“The homegrown tour was informative and I learned some basic history and current culture of this town. Rejoice, my guide, picked me up from my hotel. He was punctual, friendly and professional. He is passionate about his town which is less than 10mins drive from Victoria Falls town. It is where many locals live and is different to the touristy areas. He took me to the first tavern to try the local beer, meet and interact with the locals there, a market and craft workshop to support the locals, drive around town and a local eating joint. “We had a really good and interesting tour for seeing the village. However, when I see the description. It looks like we missed something. We didn't visit any school or saw anybody making a meal. We were 1 hour in the village, the drive took 15 minutes each way, and we didn't get any drinks or snack. So if this is the average tour, and you want to see all the details as in the description, then you probably have to choose another tour. Any how, we had a nice tour, but I wouldn't mind to have seen a little bit more”
