Lion & Wildlife Sanctuary Excursion Victoria Falls

Lion & Wildlife Sanctuary Excursion Victoria Falls - The hyena walk: the closest you can get, without going wild

2.Lion & Wildlife Sanctuary Excursion Victoria Falls

★★★★★★★★★★4.5 · 31 reviews · from $120

See lions feeding at eye level and walk among hyenas in Victoria Falls, plus ostriches and rescued animals in 3 hours.

“Pick up was on time, very good and informative communication from the driver. According to this tour operator effective 1 January 2026 a VAT of 15,5% is levied by the Government for tourism. We only received this info from them very last minute and it was an additional 82$ (for 2). They should have informed us in advance of this increase! We have joined several tours and booked all tours far before the end of 2025. The other tour operators did not raise their price by 15,5% and mentioned that if the tour operator had prebooked before the end of 2025, the increase would not apply. Otherwise it was an…”

“As a female solo traveler I’ve felt very safe during this whole trip. I was picked up from my hotel by two young men (MacDonald and Taf) who were very friendly and engaged. After a short stop at the gorge, we drove to the venue where the vulture feeding is happening. I joined the other people from the venue and we got a brief introduction by a special guide. We then walked a very short way down where the feeding would be happening. You could already see the vultures and some storks, waiting in excitement. As soon as the guide put the meat on the ground and walked away all…”

★★★★★★★★★★5.0 · 3 reviews · 2.5 hours · from $148

A 2.5-hour ethical elephant encounter at Victoria Falls, with EleCREW education, a guided walk, and waterhole time that funds conservation.

“one of the most meaningful things I’ve done. This nonprofit is doing critical work rescuing elephants at risk from culling and drought with 9 in total, and it shows in how thoughtfully everything is run. The guides were informative, the environment felt calm and respectful, and the focus stayed on the elephants (not entertainment). I came out knowing so much about them and it’s amazing to get up close with them. Highly recommend if you want an ethical, heart-full experience.”
